Pixelated apple CarPlay

This seems to be a common problem with OEM units. My roommate bought a 2023 Chevy Trail Blazer and he has the same issue. There is no issue on my aftermarket Kenwood unit purchased in 2021 that's installed on my 2007 Silverado, but it's happened on my FL5.

Disabling the Honda Navigation app and “force stopping” it has solved the pixelation issue for me over the course of the week. Definitely the solution for this issue for me. I didn’t need to turn on “developer mode” to do so.

This 1000000000% the fix. I had the same issues with Waze and wireless carplay just plain sucking. I made this change this morning and WOW. The responsiveness of Car Play was immediately noticeable. Now wireless carplay performs as well as wired carplay in my wife Odyssey....

I can't believe it! Carplay is amazing after disabling the Navigation. I've been running Waze for 2 weeks now, flawlessly. Carplay is faster and no issues.
