I guess my internal argument is, “can I live with this small chip”, knowing that it’s a brand new car. Not much I can do about it

Did the shops fix the damaged they caused?Cars get damaged at shops. Has happened to me numerous times. The space is tight, you have people leaning into the car, people watching, tools going about, etc. It's a risk always when we take a car to the shop.
This damage should absolutely be fixed! SMH! Shame on Pep Boys!No, they usually don't. This was recent exanple at Pep Boys changing my tires in my Accord 2.0T 6 speed. They lifted it incorrectly.

Agree. I've had some issues with damage in the past at shops. It's a mixed bag as to whether they cop to it and make it right.
