I live in West Palm Beach area and bought my 2025 from Mississippi because it was no hassle for MSRP ($47,500). I did pay $500 shipping but still thousands cheaper than anywhere in Florida.
This is the correct method. Got mine for 1100 under msrp.

Hendrick Honda in Fort Lauderdale, they're the last I spoke to that would even remotely entertain MSRP when I was helping a couple guys look, everywhere else is $5k-$7.5k over MSRP. TBH its alot easier to get an Integra Type S under MSRP in FL
Do you remember what salesmen you were talking to?

Group1Honda, just call them up and ask whats the best deal and cost to ship to xxx. zip code.
Don't ask what's the best deal, they'll just give you MSRP plus whatever markup they feel like adding. Always let them know you're interested and prepared to buy immediately only if you can get the car at MSRP. Based on how they respond will let you know if you should move forward or not.

What state are you in? I remember calling a dealership on Georgia a while back and they had a $1000 doc fee. Turns out certain states have variable set doc/government fee amounts and others have ranges, dealers just decide on number to make the most money.

Solid, but don't settle for this. Push for a bigger discount.
Not even close to being solid.

MSRP or walk away. It is happening all over the US. The car is NOT rare and there will be at least a other model year in '27.

It's $1,145 below MSRP. What about that is not solid? OP should push for more, but if that is unsuccessful, there's nothing offensive about $1,100+ under MSRP unless there are other demands from the dealership that has not been disclosed.
