Don't even know why these ain't flying off the shelves. Guy's are going crazy for a new stainless steel exhaust that's at a minimum 30lb heavier than oem exhaust and close to 3k SMDH

Lets see

Its probably a alibaba exhaust so this price is really what it might be worth.
Did you see those welds?
Looks kinda cheap with the coloring

I've never seen anyone say that the tomei exhaust is ali baba and it's cheaper as well as made in China lol
The coloring is not my cup of tea. As far as the welds go they look adequate no metal is blown through.
Doesn't look like it's overly restricted decent flow and it's lighter than OEM.

It has been confirmed it is an Alibaba exhaust, but nothing wrong with it at that price. Their clearance price is actually cheaper than ordering direct from China. I just wish it had silver or black tips, but guess they can always be cerakoted black.

I think a lot of people are staying clear of the new tomei stuff cuz quality is subpar.
I mean for $1300 is prob not a bad exhaust but I have no interest in it so I assume others feel the same or it would have flown off the shelves at this price

It's on sale right now. They were selling for over 2k. It's hard to justify for 2k over recognized brands with similar prices. Vivid is going to sell out of them quickly.

I'm just curious why the site says 3" but the video says 2.67". That's a big difference. It's it's actually 3" it's a deal. If it's 2.67" hard pass.

Does anyone have one and can confirm if it's 3" or not?

This part.

I was just reading the 27WON post, then saw this post, and the similarities are just too coincidental. After watching some videos, I found the differences to be minimal. Yet, this option saves a G-ball and about 30lbs.

I contacted VR. They're going to remeasure and update the info on it.

2.25'' OEM vs. 2.68'' VR .... wasn't the consensus that the exh. on DE5/FL5's are pretty darn good to begin with?

specs - im sure you've watched

power rating - backpedal a few secs. whp gains of this 2.7" exhaust fall right be low the leader, AWE.
