Haven't seen any crack on FL5s but I know 2 FK8s that had titanium exhausts and they cracked. But that was only 2 of maybe 15 that I know personally. The most annoying thing was getting the crack repaired, it took some time to find someone that could weld titanium properly, and not have to bring it back after a week to repair it.

None of the cars with the high-end JDM Titanium exhausts cracked so your safe with Fujitsubo, Powerhouse Amuse, HKS, Trust, etc. Remark titanium exhausts Sequence Manufacturing(FK8 only) were fine too

So who is selling the chintzy titanium exhausts? 😂 Is it Tomei (non-JDM version), Alibaba?

One was a Tomei, the other was a Rampagefab ti exhaust, the car with the Rampagefab had a Cusco Pitch stopper RMM which is 90a durometer so Im sure the extra vibration contributed to it.

Part failure will always be a thing. Oem or aftermarket it's going to happen. I personally don't understand the misconception about titanium exhausts.

I've also owned a few titanium exhausts over the years (currently have one on the FL5) and never once had an issue. A titanium exhaust is more susceptible than a stainless variant to cracks but that doesn't mean it will crack. Remember when a CAI could hydrolock your engine? Yeah, had a few of those as well and that never happened either. If there's a titanium or inconel option, I will always, at the very least, be interested.
That’s a very good point knowing it could crack doesn’t mean it will 👍🏻
Curiosity has me wondering what exhaust are you running and are you happy with it ?

I had to locate a titanium welder once and take him to the track to weld a brand new GT3 akrapovic exhaust the blew one resonator cap at the track. Next morning he had to go again to weld the other side. lol.
The struggle is real! Lolz

the cool part of it is that they located who did the welds of that exhaust at the factory, and found out that 4 other exhaust welded by that person that week failed. So they recalled all exhaust and fired the woman
