All I did was wash her (Drivelab stuff is great, btw, first wash, already turning more heads than normal).

Honestly just killing time for 2 more weeks til the Hondata ECU unlock event in Chicago (I'm in Wisconsin).

Weather is nice, having fun one bendy road at a time.

I keep seeing ads for Drivelab on social media and was always curious if it actually worked as well and as quickly as they say it does.

Bit the bullet and treated myself for finally graduating college after waiting far too long. Ordered the 18x10 +40 ZE40 M-Spec wheels from @lmtlsauto

Now the search for tires begins as the one thing I’ve admittedly never really researched that hard. Also need to order some good lug nuts and I’m assuming hub centric rings.

Honest review:

You might still need to scrub tar off. But bugs and other dirt? It's gone. I have the shittiest Ryobi electric pressure washer pushing minimum psi, don't even know how to use my harbor freight foam cannon (I learned there's a knob for controlling foam amount after using it today).

Still came out great. You're gonna have to still use a towel/cloth and buff/wipe a bit with the 2nd stage, but it's really not bad at all. It looks to have a deeper gloss than the Chemical Bros stuff I used last fall. Certainly beats the bucket. I bought a gallon of the stage 1 (soap) and stage 2 (polish, wax, ceramic?) Drivelab stuff right after the wash today because I'm sold that it's dang good.

I really like the tire shine too. not ridiculously glossy, but good looking. Word is it lasts.

I can update.

And for transparency sake, this car has 1500 miles on it, sat in a garage most of winter, just needed to wash dust off. the Chemical Bros ceramic stuff was making the water bead off, so it probably would have been clean via just water.

I've been on the fence about this for a while, but I've seen a few FL5 owners snagging this from them, and the quality/pricing looks like a great alternative vs Overland Design's full wrap.

I installed J’s racing Tailights so you don’t have to. This is a case of a fool and his money soon parted. I’m happy with the look and functionality but obviously not worth the price. My advice is to just get the Archaic and save yourself some money. Only advantage of these is some type of warranty. Install was easy with the most time consuming being the wire routing through the grommet that connects the hatch to the body. On to the pics!

I like that this is double stitched vs single stitched on the overland - matches the rest of the car

gave the beast a clean with the interior cleaner I swear by and it's safe for the Alcantara steering wheel too.....the end result speaks for itself 👌👌👌👌

also thought I'd show what setup I have

MUGEN gearbox knob $38 (probably fell off the back of the truck 😂😂)

centre console $48 made out of ABSvand looks like carbon fibre and it's super strong and not flimsy

Red weave carbon door trims and window switch panels from TAKETWO

Black AC knobs from black package

dashmat

floor mats (bush/4wd mats with high walls) I've had since 2011 in other cars

seat covers from Thailand $135 delivered.....had em for 2½ yrs and the seat fabric underneath is still like brand new

got also OEM Honda boot (trunk) protector and Cargo organiser

On the outside just the red OEM mirror caps and replaced horns with a set of bassy PIAA

had it for 2 yrs 7 months now and just short of 20k km (12,400 miles)

fuel economy is awesome I haven't reset the trip meter since new and it's showing 9.3L/100km (25.3 MPG)

I recently picked up lugs from Zakgear (you can see all the options available on ebay) and limited options on ths storefront: https://b4551b-3.myshopify.com/ but if you find the specific style you want you can submit a message on the store and he'll invoice you via paypal. Shipping was fast, next day IIRC, and the lugs are high quality. I went with floating seats and the "z" key for a little sense of security.

Getting tires mounted and balanced from home while I work.

Gave me the best price for a set of Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 275/35ZR18. Probably saved me a few hundred dollars compared to going through Tire Rack or taking them to get installed at a local shop. Hit him up if you are in SoCal if you're around OC, LA, and the Inland Empire.
