I installed the Phearable stage 2 tune today and it is absolutely worth it. Really a big difference over the 93 Hondata base map I’ve been using since last April.

Finally received the Blitz Fender trim. It completes the front end for me and wish I wish I would have gotten it sooner. Looks better in person than in pics since you can’t really tell they are there when looking at it head on.

if I had the coin for full Carbon I would have gone that route as this come with unfinished primer. I ended up just wrapping everything gloss black instead of paint.

How much did it cost to wrap it all? Almost ordered this myself today.

Finally got my downsizing plan going by receiving my Apex VS-5RS and intrigued that they look like stock wheels on a diet when having the actual wheel in my hands.

Installed the Hybrid Racing Heavy Duty Transmission Detent Springs in mine today. Couldn't take it for a test drive due to snow. =|

Holy shit it let me attach the video this time!

anywho. This is a rotary shop but they treated my “fl5/type r” with care and respect. Not once did they make fun of my pistons. In English or Spanish (I’m Cuban and can speak/understand Spanish)

Hit 311whp/340wtq today

Intake, catback exhaust, intercooler

Stock pull on this dyno was 295/324 (August 2025)

Intake = prl
Catback = invidia q300 with front pipe but removed the res for a 3” in and out fluid motor union megaphone
Intercooler = pwr

Not sure what changed with the part number moving from 49S89-A0000 to 49S89-0001.
As usual, I was curious, so I asked Grok.

Grok could not find any reason for the change, it is claiming that the specs are the same, speculating possibly a manufacturing or production change or a supply chain change

Usual disclaimer about AI tools...

oh my when are you installing it?

btw if anyone is looking for a type R i just picked up a 25 for $1000 under MSRP at LEBLanc Honda, New Iberia Louisiana. They have a white one coming in any day and itll be the same price, actually $1800 under msrp but they add a mandatory $800- ceramic coat. This is the best deal I could find nationwide and want to pass it forward, ask for quinn

I’ve been ready to pull the trigger on paragon rotors front and rear and brake pads but I’m stuck on pads.

I do not track but do hit the twisties a few times a year with friends. I don’t go too fast but I do go fast enough that I push the brakes some. I also have real winters and would appreciate something that will stop in the cold without making me freak out cuz she doesn’t want to stop for like the first second or two of applying the brakes. I dont care if the dust is minimized or crazy bad but would be cool if it’s minimized, I guess

I’ve narrowed it down to the paragon p3 pads, project mu HC (not the plus ones) and counter space spec cp pads. I just want oem brembo like performance with an ever so slightly higher temp range.

brake fluid will be the oem fluid for now. Till I can find something that can last me 2 years and performs better than oem, even if a little

thnx if y’all can kick in your two cents. Appreciate y’all
