1012 miles. Changed the oil, installed Fumoto valve and ordered a ANNLV skid plate after seeing the tinfoil one honda put on there. The screws were on there at like 400 lb/ft. Thankfully the drainplug and filter were normal.

Went to the exhaust shop near me this morning, had them remove the front resonator. I did the “valve open” mod just before going. Wow, this is how the car should’ve sounded outta the gate. It’s not loud my any means but has a deeper growl. Glad I did it!! Just as preventative measures, I did buy someone’s stock exhaust, which was a new takeoff, just in case I didn’t like it. So now I have a practically new exhaust system that was used for 100 miles, bought it for $140 hanging on the ceiling of my garage. Lol.

Longterm, I’ll likely do a high flow cat or completely catless so I still wanted that mid resonator in there.

Yeah man, i replaced those Phillips screw head ones, for 10mm bolts. PiTA to remove. I used the rotor screw removal tool to get those off.

stupid question - did you just buy new u-clips and bolts to do this or just stuff some bolts in there? I started to try to take mine down but didnt want to destroy stuff (using an impact driver lol) and have nothing to replace it.

I still use the plastic flat-head grey screws, i replaced the ones towards the motor mount screw, there’s two Phillips screw that are nearly impossible to remove.

i bought a set of the replacement ones and maybe ive just got dumb luck (picking the two phillips head screws). I remember trying to pull off two of the screws off but they were both phillips head and impossible to get out. ill get my impact driver out and take a look when this weather calms down. Are people not replacing the 1/4 turn ones as well, or do those seem to hold up alright?

I Installed the PRL coolant expansion tank, it seems very well made and I like that it is larger than most other tanks and increases the capacity of the cooling system, but I did not like paying $25 for a gallon of Honda Type 2 coolant

I used a 500cc syringe to suck up nearly all the coolant from the OEM plastic expansion tank

Once the coolant was removed from the OEM tank, the most challenging part was removing the hoses from the OEM plastic tank. Once I managed to remove the hoses, I did not have hose clamps, so I did not clamp the hoses, but no coolant leaked.

Short test drive, all seemed well, no leaks. sight window is large and easy to view the coolant level, which was near the top of the window after the short drive, and about midway after cooling a bit.

Nest, I removed the ECU and packed for shipping to Cobb, also fairly easy, most challenging was removing the bottom blue plastic clip holding the harness, followed by the four clips on the ECU enclosure.

No matter how careful I am, I am very good at breaking plastic tabs, but this time I got lucky, though it seems that the plastic ECU enclosure is softer than most tabs I've broken

I then installed the Suma side view mirrors, removing the OEM mirror was fairly easy, though I had to use a bit more force than I expected to pull them out.

The most difficult part was removing the OEM white center pieces on each mirror, each is held by eight plastic tabs, two on each side. I took my time and manage to remove the white center pieces without breaking anything...

Reinstalling the Suma mirrors was fairly easy, though it took several tries to get the Suma mirror onto the balls of the plastic adjuster arms.

I could not adjust or test since the battery was disconnected. Should have done Suma first...

New shift knob from ALPLUS. Lowered the Acuity shifter height to around level 2 since the shift knob is a bit taller than standard Honda shift knobs. I'm really digging it.
