Looks like Japanese reviewers and customers are already getting their hands on Type Rs. Also saw that road and track is already testing the FL5, anyone know when the review embargo ends in America?

If FL5's are already shipped and arriving soon at dealers, it would seem that review embargo should be coming off sooner than later, no?

best case scenario I think would be the beginning of November tbh but who knows. I wish we had some confirmed info about that but we should get that soon I hope.

Update - Matt Farah said on his podcast embargo lifts 15 November.
Holy Smoking Tire! Guess it's the 15th then.

Further update - he also mentioned the 13th and then said 13th or 15th.
So once again - no definitive answer!

Regardless sounds like mid-November! Excited to see reviews (and comparisons with the GR Corolla)!

GR looks like vomit off a drunken sailor.

Not even on the radar unless you wanna look like a goof lol

I think the exterior is fine; interior doesn't line up with the price though
Yeah if they had the Morizo seats and trim in the Core I think it would align a little better to price. Sat in an FL5 yesterday and the interior was fantastic though.

Don't need an embargo for driving impression. Same chassis and engine as old one, but stretched a bit. So, better stability on the big tracks and no advantage on the smaller/tighter course. The big change that eclipse all else, is the price.
