New front bumper concept from Result Japan, good to see another bumper option coming to the market

Looks functional, but very ugly. It's like they made the air channels in CAD, then took a cross section and said "just paint it black"

Second image looks better tho

Elantra N vibes and I know the hate they have towards the type r’s and I think some people think is reciprocal 😂. I like the Elantra especially the TCR could own it but I have type r now.

I saw a comment a while back that summed up the one sided rivalry really well: "When you buy an Elantra N, people ask you why you didn't buy a type R. When you buy a type R, no one asks why you didn't buy an Elantra N".

Elantra N's are great cars, but the low barrier of entry means the average driver of them also shares that low barrier if you catch my drift 👀

Well said. There tends to be a lot of cope on the EN side which tends to evolve into hate. It is a good value for what it is. Though I do think the EN is rather ugly. As far as they have come as a brand, Hyundai is not equal to Honda. I have had a few daily Hyundais so this is coming from my experiences with the brand. Let's face it, nobody driving an EN wouldn't have rather had a Type R.

But yea, that bumper is fugly. Looks like a Kia EV.

I actually don't mind the looks, trhe 2nd pic with the painted center section makes it look a lot better to me. TBH I'm waiting for someone to make a bumper that neatly integrates OEM foglights.

Garage Vary recently posted their color-matched polyurethane front lip. This design is completely different from their carbon Glide front lip

There were almost no mentions of the Seibon TA-style lip online, so figured this was a good chance to showcase something that hasn't really been covered yet. I wanted something sleek that didn't drop down a ton, since road clearance matters, and this hasn't reduced my height much at all. I was on the fence about how much it extends at first, there's about a 2" extension from where it starts, and I would've personally leaned toward something closer to 1-1.5". But after seeing it in person, and then on the car, it works well, especially paired with the other aero pieces, the drop, and the wheels and tires being more aggressive than factory too.

Big selling point for me was reusing all OE clip locations. It's also pre-drilled for self-tapping screws, and since I know I'll be doing some 60-130 testing once we add power to the car, we also ran 3M double-sided tape as extra insurance. I lost a lip that wasn't secured well enough at 130mph on my FK8 once - it wasn't pretty.

Our buddy who handled the install has done Mugen, Spoon, M&M, Aimgain, AFD, and a bunch of others for locals over the years. He said this was one of the easiest one to line up, straightforward install with zero adjustments needed.

We do carry this lip on the site, you can check it out here. It may look like a higher list price than Seibon's own, but that's because we have to factor in $315 in freight costs, and there's no way to recover that otherwise. This is how most Seibon products will end up priced as we get them uploaded over time.

Legit one of the best designed lips for the FL5. Very similar to the APR, but I like that they smoothed out the corners by the grills. I still am undecided about the turn up on the sides. I get that they're trying to match the sides, but it opens the can of worms where the sides are gloss black and these are carbon.

Result Japan uploaded an install video of their new DC2 style wing. I still like it better than the Epsilon wing, but I'm still on the fence about it, especially because they want you to use a waterproof sealant rather than provide a gasket to keep water out.
