Preparing for install.

Just before I got to the 4th and final spacer and wheel, we got a bit of a sprinky dink.
That's why it looks all wet.

Honda Pilot Matte Bronze HPD wheels installed.

The 20mm spacer gives the thiccc Pilot wheel just enough clearance around the front Brembo caliper.

It is tough to tell from photos, but it is about 5 to 6mm clearance with 20mm spacers.

Awkwardly I dig it. That color combo flows w/ what you got going on. If those lips weren't machined, those could actually be a thing.
Thanks.
Yeah, at first, I was avoiding the whole 1999 Subaru Impreza WRX coupe (one of my Dream Cars!) Gold on Blue look...
But I just couldn't help myself! ... So eventually I just let the inevitable take its course.

Also, what do you mean by "those could actually be a thing"?
You don't like the machined lip?

HAHA, I knew I liked you. I'm a Subaru guy myself. The blue and gold is a classic combo. I see it now.

I'm not a fan of machined lips as they've designed it. It still looks good, dont get me wrong. I think the color break up is too harsh of a split, IMO.

Man, that eBay option looks a bit sketch AF as well.

Also, ALL of the options presented so far are, believe it or not, taller than I actually want, nor do they address fixing the FL5's natural reverse rake, which gets on my nerves.
I've heard that some FL5s "settle" in the front after a few months from the weight of the engine, but I've had my car a whole year now and my front end still sits higher than the rear.

I actually emailed HRG and filled out a form a couple months ago... and still haven't received a reply.
Before I filled out the request form for a custom fitting, they had nothing for 11th Gen Civics.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
I guess HRG was so busy fabricating this kit, they forgot to respond to me.

I'll have to remind those guys that I still want to go into their shop for a custom fit.

Ideally, I'd like about a half inch (14 to 15mm) lift in the front, and about an inch (25 to 28mm) in the rear.
That would fix the reverse rake AND allow a bit of extra clearance for rear seat passegers + cargo in the trunk without ending up pants saggin'.

February 2026 Update.

In Janurary this year I received some Kyo-Ei Project Kics lug nuts and some other JDM gear that I ordered from Nengun in late 2025.

Three sets of wheels need three separate sets of Kyo-Ei JDM lug nuts, ammiright?
Two sets of Project Kics R40 Iconix Ball Seat lug nuts for OEM Honda wheels, and one set of Monolith T1/07 for my JDM MITA Motorsport FKS wheels.

For my OEM Honda wheels, I had to replace my busted McGard wheel locks, that just don't have quite a deep enough bite on the surface...

If the McGard wheel locks are on the lug too tightly, it will be very difficult to loosen without stripping the lock nut.
Buyer beware.

EDIT:

HONDA ain't playing.
94 does NOT mean 95.

94 Pounds MEANS 94 Pounds!

So when I installed my new Kyo-Ei Iconix Black lug nuts, I torqued to 94 Pounds...

NOT 95.

Bravo sir! I love the Pilot wheels, that is a fantastic touch.
Man those wheels look amazing really! They aren’t my cup of tea but it gives a look like it came out of Gran Turismo. Wish I can see it sometime 😂 in person because the wrap color also look impressive.
Thanks, y'all!
