Recently wrapped my FL5 yellow and originally planned to have bronze wheels when it was still white. However, not feeling the bronze with the yellow.

For other yellow type R owners, what colour wheels do you run other than the OEM black?

Photo for reference (excuse for me to just upload photos of my car lol).

2025 CTR. Championship White.
Fair enough and each to their own (of course)
But consider,
Paint=yellow
Everything else = a black / grey variant.
So you have 2 complimentary colours.

When you add a third colour, considering one is already yellow.. you're going to end up with "a lot"
If that makes sense.

Few colours work well with yellow.
Black does, all shades of grey do, and white can, under the right circumstances.

Looking forward to seeing what you decide.

If black wheels aren't your flavor, I personally think that silver would look fantastic. Other good options are various shades of gray or even white if you're bold. Take one of your pics and use AI to change the wheel color to silver. Curious to know what you think

damn, AI is good. I did it for silver and gunmetal. Might just get my wheels painted or powdercoated

I think silver looks amazing 😍. I am actually going with a matte silver on my sonic grey pearl.

I think the gunmetal looks fantastic against the yellow. The silver seems to pop out too much color wise.

2 wheel colors that go best with Yellow are White and Bronze. You already said no to bronze so white is the way to go. a Set of White Regamasters, CE28s, RPF1s, Gramlight 57CRs(with red stickers) or white BBS FI-R would be tits.

damn that looks nice...

Yeah thats the situation im in now, deciding between the silver and gunmetal
IMHO, I would rule out the standard bronze wheel color on a yellow car. Silver looks too flashy and gunmetal looks better. Not knowing your budget, I'd toss in another color to consider being the Rays G025-SZ Edition. It is advertised as being shining bronze in color but is more of a gunmetal bronze that has color shifts depending on the lighting. Here are a few PICs of mine:
