One of the first items I wanted to address on the FL5 is the less than ideal wheel offset. I didn't want to turn to aftermarket wheels since I'm a huge fan of the 19-Inch Matte-Black Alloy OEM wheels. I decided the best path forward is to explore wheel spacers to move the wheels and tires outwards so they are more flush with the fender. The question that often arises is, "What size wheel spacer should I run to achieve the desired stance?" The answer is: It's a matter of personal preference. This thread will serve as a reference to help make that decision a little easier.

Submit your entries using the following format:

1. Year and model:
(e.g.: 2023 Civic Type R)

2. Wheels/offset:
Front: (e.g.: 19x9.5 OEM Matte-Black Alloy, ET +60)
Rear: (e.g.: 19x9.5 OEM Matte-Black Alloy, ET +60)

3. Tire size:
Front: (e.g.: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 265/30ZR-19 93Y XL)
Rear: (e.g.: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 265/30ZR-19 93Y XL)

4. Suspension:
(e.g.: Stock, Spoon Sports Progressive Spring, Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Springs, HKS Hipermax R Coilover Kit, Ohlins Road & Track Coilover Kit)

5. Wheel Spacer Brand and Size:
Front: (e.g.: Perrin 25 mm, H&R TRAK+ 15mm)
Rear: (e.g.: Perrin 25 mm, H&R TRAK+ 25mm)

6. Clearance (i.e., Does it rub? If so, when?)
Front: (e.g.: Rubs backing out of an incline)
Rear: (e.g.: N/A)

7. Wheel Studs
Front: (e.g.: Stock)
Rear: (e.g.: Stock)

8. Insert photos

I will get us started.

The timeline I was provided by them when I requested is as follows:

"We will need 8-10 days to make the custom spacer , 4-7 days shipping time , total 12-17 days ."

I ordered on March 24 and received it on April 11, so a little past the quoted timeline. It's worth mentioning, I ordered custom spacers for the rears so you likely will not have to wait as long. It appears you are also in PR so not sure how that may or may not impact the timeline.

Love the stance on the stock wheels and tires!🙌🏽 Have you noticed any negative affects with the quality of the ride, such as noticeable understeer, the car not holding a line through turns, or sloppy turn in? I’m definitely thinking about doing the same thing to my Boosted Blue fl5, so I was just curious about your before versus after experience?
