Here's my video of my experience installing the PWR Track Spec Radiator! Hope it saves all of you some time when going to install this item yourself should you choose to purchase!

Thanks for the tips; It'll make tackling this a lot easier when the time comes.

I tested my coolant freeze point today. Looks like with my current mixture I'm good down to 10 degrees. Thought this might be helpful for the guys in the north. My mixture is 1 bottle of water wetter, 1 gallon of distilled water, and the remaining filled with factory Honda coolant.

Would you recommend installing a low temp thermostat with this radiator for normal DD? What kind of temps were you seeing this last season?

I personally wouldn't, but @Jester04 may have a different opinion. I didn't see temps higher than 224 but the average was 210-215. I was running the heat in the car, and removed the splash shield under the hood vent.

So the lower temp thermostat will just buy you a little bit of extra time. But it will require hondata to clear dct codes. But not needed, just will give you about 10 extra celcius degrees to play with.

Basically 1 lap I'd imagine?

Putting in a lower thermostat will throw a code?

I purchased one and was going to have it put in when the PWR radiator and Hel oil cooler gets installed.

Are you going to get an aftermarket oil sensor installed too?

If it runs too cold it will, if you get Hondata I can turn it off for you or can just guide you.

This requires jailbreaking ECU right?

Sadly yes, I remember that you told me the situation that you could not send it. Hondata still does not have remote unlock. And cobb can’t do anything about the FL5 yet and they won’t support DCT cancellation. I would hold off on the thermostat for the time being.

I bought the street version of the PWR radiator. What’s the likely hood of it being too cold. And if it does throw a code, wouldn’t it go away if I do a reset? The issue would be on a daily drive and not at the track. I’m trying to understand the risk to see if it’s worth installing it. The idea was to do the install all at the same time.
