Finally put in the ALPLUS Aero Guards (aluminium but was tempted by the carbon). Definitely worth it in Aus with plenty of poorly sealed roads sending rocks through the vents. I like the look of them too.

Had some extra cash and enough for inexpensive ($32/2), totally quite (major initial concern), easy to affix/remove, “bling things.” Now that they’re on, I’m kinda liking them, but still on the fence about long term.

Finally got the chance to start putting in mods for track preparation. Ordered the Paragon P3 front pads and paragon titanium pad shims from TSP. The pads were correct but the shims were the wrong part. Didn’t know until install day. Which sucks. I think this is the part I hate about online shopping.

The Spoon stainless steel lines went in and so did the Castrol SRF brake fluids on a full flush.

That's a good idea! I was worried about stones flying through there too.

I got the same ones from eBay for ~$19 (Best Offer) just to irritate my wife a little, and I ended up thinking they looked fun, but once I got the Cusco wing risers, it seemed the combination made the car look cheap.

On their own, they're not too bad, and there are worse/pricier customization options!

My uncle (old school Honda/Acura fanboy) bought the car for my cousin a few years ago, both thinking she'd master driving stick, but she quickly gave up hope and it ended up stashed in the back of their barn in case she changed her mind.

I wasn't on the hunt for another vehicle, but my very first car was a blackish (generally trashed) '94 Del Sol S, and when I heard they were clearing out the barn and looking to sell this, I could barely contain my excitement. It's the '94 Si model with 113,000 miles, zero modifications, and we replaced the battery to find seemingly everything works.... I'm honestly still dumbfounded.

Nice. New summer car. Just do maintenance and maybe new tires and you’re all set. You’re driving a classic car!

Oh man nice! Obtaining a fun beater (this is probably more of a classic) on the cheap has been my dream for years now haha. Can never find something quite worth pulling the trigger on.

Carplay is a lil faster after I disabled honda nav. Where were the codecs at?
Realized I had posted about this in the wrong thread :D Trey, the codec stuff was in the dev menus.

Waze worked perfectly now that I've disabled Honda Nav! I did a 200 mile trip (each way) this weekend and had no issue with the display pixelating. Highly recommend doing this along with turning off data sharing.

Why not use a full size mat instead? 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ I have these: https://a.co/d/b4lRLSa
I considered those mats but at that point I already had my solution so no reason to throw money at it.

A poor man's S2000 if there ever was one!
I wouldn’t call it that. It was a predecessor. Clean it up, and put in a K series and have fun with it. I like the t top. I haven’t been able to go top down in a long time. No place to set my hardtop aside.
