What he said. I run 18x9.5 on my winter setup and it works great.

I had my snow tires/wheels setup from the FK8 carried over to this car and they are 18x8.5s(ET40). No issue there.

I have Enkei TS7’s in 18x8.5 with 235/40/18’s with no problems.

8.5" may be fine for a winter setup but I cannot imagine downsizing by 10% for the rest of the year. (9.5" being the factory width)
