The fake vertical vents on front bumper pop off..another possible way to allow air in..and have functional vents!

If you can bench read/write the ecu I can do the mod for you. But keep in mid anytime you reflash the ecu it goes away because I assume Hondata writes the full code every flash. I could share this with Hondata its a simple patch it just calcualtes a 16 bit value for ect2 and replaces the ram variable for calculated oil temps but I believe Derek has so much on his head this is not something worth spending his time on.
A question for you. And you maybe already explained this, so if I missed it I apologize. I understand the ECT sensor being repurposed, and also the concept of the patch to allow the ECU to interpret the signal from the sensor to be read as the oil temp. My question though is how are you connecting the wires of the sensor in? Like where are they hooked up to, so as to be read?

I am repurposing the analog input originally used for the ECT2 sensor. on the FL5 this input is only used for thermostat valve diagnostics, nothing else. So its prety much useless.

I then use an extention on the oem connector.

same concept as the FK8 ethanol sensor kits

Yes, but the brake duct felt more effective. THis is all a prototype, once I have a little more time I will 3d print a divided brake duct that looks decent and make a better radiator mount. I must add that I felt no difference during braking and the wear is even on both sides
