Type R Spring Track Day - May 24-25, 2025 VIR

A black CTR had an unfortunate incident at VIR yesterday. I wasn’t able to catch up with the driver, so I don’t know if he’s on the forum or not. I was there running my other car. Beware of turn 10…..

I think the driver was fine, physically, but the car dumped fluids all the way to Oak Tree and beyond. I assume the off course excursion damaged an aftermarket oil cooler, but I’m just speculating…

Did he end up backwards in the tires, or did he go out into the grass?

I didn’t see it, but heard that he went of to the outside. I don’t know if he found the tires or not, but it looked like the damage may have come from rough terrain underneath.

Chillin' in the paddock beats working. Not sure when I'm gonna get out of there but probably won't make it down to VIR until late.

@PointByPatrol are you (or anybody) still planning on bringing a jack? I can fit one if I have to but would rather borrow one if it's available.
