Hello!

So I have had a tune on the car for a while but the car always felt a bit floaty under acceleration. I just installed a PRL rear engine mount and acuity shifter. COMPLETELY changed how the car feels in the best way. So much more planted. But I want more! So outside of coilovers, any suggestion on which mods to do to feel even more stable?

I know I need a rear sway bar; but should I just do the whole set like rigid collars and what Cusco has? I want to know what people have done that has completely changed how the car feels and made it even more planted. Honestly, adding the shifter and engine mount probably has to be my favorite mods…it’s so much more fun to drive…just wish I went with a more aggressive rear mount…later probably.

Any advice would be great!

Drop springs like Spoon and for sure Spoon rigid collars. The Spoon chassis stiffening plate also helps. I have zero wheel hop and its planted to the ground.

I am using this exact set up along with the Wunderladen street RMM and Mugen performance dampers and it is very planted without sacrificing any extra harshness in driving

I have the Mugen dampers, but I still haven't had a chance to install them. Did you feel a difference?

A strut bar may help, but it will feel floaty when the tires are at the edge of traction. Worse if the road surface isn't smooth.

Can I ask why you want to go to a stiffer RMM than the PRL version?
It works great TBH and I feel minimal to not NVH. But I don’t mind getting it even stiffer to see if it helps even incrementally more.

Yeah, that’s why I will likely need coilovers to hopefully reduce the car from lurching back as much during heavy acceleration and see if that helps some more the floaty feeling.

Overall I was wondering if anyone has done the underbody Cusco type additions and noted worthwhile changes.

A rear sway is the best mod to do. It's immediately noticeable improvement with almost no disadvantage. The collars are a subtle but weird improvement. Gets rid of that cheap rattly feel to a more refined feel, like a European car.

We have a test car with all the Cusco Braces. It’s hard to quantify the change since it cars are pretty rigid as is, everyone will comment differently about what they feel when it filmed to chassis bracing parts.

I think you should try to more camber up front before bars.

Did you feel a difference? Doesn’t need to be quantified.
