That’s awesome!!

Definitely will provide an update on how the radiator performs. I actually just got my shipment confirmation on the radiator hoses.

Road Atlanta!!
My first-ever event at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta was an unforgettable one! Especially when sharing that experience with an incredible group of friends!! Videos and photos seriously do not capture just how wild the elevation changes are at this place. If you ever get the chance to drive this track, put it on your bucket list immediately.

Even with plenty of sim practice, it still took me a while to really wrap my head around the track. The sim does a great job teaching the racing line, but it cannot fully prepare you for the compression zones, blind crests, downhill sweepers, and the sheer commitment this track demands. Turn 12, especially when you drop under the bridge, is incredibly intimidating at first, but once the confidence starts building, it becomes one of the most rewarding sections on the circuit.

The event was hosted by FARA Racing, and I was competing in the SLS group, a limited Time Attack series. Huge learning experience, tons of respect for this track, and definitely a weekend I will not forget. Watch along as I take on Road Atlanta for the first time!



Also, I’m happy to report that switching to Endless RF-650 was a massive upgrade in pedal feel. After a hot session, once the car cooled down, the pedal used to feel like stepping on a marshmallow. Then it would slowly firm back up as the car got warm again, which made for a very inconsistent brake pedal experience. Now the brake pedal stays extremely consistent and inspires so much more confidence!

I never raced the track but i crewed for an endurance race there, no sim can really capture thr dynamics of the elevations there, the downhill on to the front straight is like s roller coaster ride. Def one of the best tracks ive been to.

It truly is a roller coaster ride! Hopefully I can get back up there soon.

With a generous discount from Zestek, I’m happy to finally have a proper racing wheel and quick release hub in my FL5! The install was pretty easy, just had some trouble removing the factory airbag. So far I’ve had the hub system installed for about two weeks and everything works as expected. However I do have to mention, if you live in a hot environment with high humidity the quick release mechanism does tend to get stuck. I have spoken to others who have the same mechanism and they have reported the same issue. Other than that I’m extremely happy with the system.

I had setup the RPM indicator which is helpful as sometimes the steering blocks the factory light indicator given I sit significantly lower then stock and I have the steering stalk as low as it can go. Another point I would like to add is that I had initially installed the hub system with a Sparco wheel that was 330MM however I did not like how it felt driving around town. It felt a bit too small given how big the car is inside. So I went and ordered a Momo Corse 2.0 in suede which is 350mm and feels better in my opinion.

Finally just this past weekend I completed a full track day with the wheel and I can say it does provide you with more feed back and more information to your hands which I really appreciate.

Back at my Home Track
After a brief hiatus, I returned to my home track (Homestead Miami Speedway) to gain additional seat time and test the effect of the Spoon rear sway bar on the car’s overall balance. The larger rear sway bar produced a clear improvement in responsiveness through low-speed corners. At higher speeds, however, I have been noticing the rear of the car exhibits a perceptible delay during turn-in. I'm currently in talks with a suspension engineering company to develop shim adjustable arms for the rear of the car and fully convert all the arms to spherical bearings. Hopefully that will resolve the lazy rear end.

Although I had intended to install the upgraded radiator before the event, I ran out of time to do so. In retrospect, the upgrade was not critical, as the day was rained out anyways. The mixed conditions made for some fun overtakes out on track although it was a bit dangerous.



The following weekend, I completed the installation of the CSF radiator. I intend to test its performance at Sebring on October 5, where I will be instructing for the NSXPO. Those attending the event are more than welcomed to track me down and say Hi!

Just in case any of you have missed my post in the "Suspension | Chassis" sub thread Club-Version x M|M|E Shim-Adjusted Rear Toe Arms, I have partnered with M|M|E to help develop true motorsport suspension arms for the FL5/FK8/DE5 chassis. The arms are aimed at true motorsport track and autocross enthusiasts and are inspired by the FL5/FK8 TCR race cars which use shim-adjusted arms. We are starting off with development and testing of the rear toe-arms followed by the rear camber arms which will also be shim-adjusted.

To begin production and continue testing, we need at least 10 reservation orders. We will make the final production decision on Friday, October 16, 2026. If at least 10 reservations remain active on that date, we will move forward. Reservations withdrawn before the deadline will not count toward the minimum. If fewer than 10 reservations remain, we will either proceed with production or automatically refund every deposit, and we will notify all participants of the decision.

MEISTERSCHAFT MOTORSPORT ENGINEERING / RESERVATION

Most adjustable toe arms are threaded: turn the rod end, lock it with a jam nut. The setting is held by thread friction and the clamp of that nut, so it depends on correct torque and on counting turns to keep both sides equal. The rod ends also have to be clocked so each ball sits in the middle of its travel before the nuts go tight. Lock one at an angle and the bearing runs against its limit, binds, and wears out early.

This arm sets its length with a stack of shims clamped between the arm body and the bearing end. The length lives in solid metal and the bearings are pressed in at a fixed angle, so there is nothing to clock. Each shim is a fixed step, the same stack gives the same length on both sides, and a setting can be changed and put back exactly without an alignment rack.
