I like that the Elantra looks different than anything else out there. I think it looks much better in person than in pics, actually. With that said, this is the Civic XI forum and I could really care less about it, how it looks, how it performs, how cheap it is, how easily the engine blows up, nor how it was designed for disgruntled fish people, Jabroni!

Yeah, I was surprised by the difference - and IMO the "3" for features & amenities is pretty low, the win should have been by another 2-3 points.

Nice win, can't say it was much of a surprise. FL5 is epic!

That makes sense. The GR is more of a wild animal at the expense of being a little less daily-able. Though I have an FL5, would I like the option to drive a small, crazy, AWD, turbo, hatchback, with a proper parking brake around a track on weekends? Heck yes! Sounds like a lot of fun!

Agreed. My heart tells me to get a GR, my head tells me to get an FL5.

As someone stated in the C&D comments area : “There’s really no bad choice here. It boils down to priorities.” I’d never give up my FL5 for either car, but that’s just me.😉

Wish I had the money to own both! Having had an STi, I’m ready to see what all the fuss is about these Type R’s!
