From my understanding of both threads there will eventually be three options.
  1. Resonated for use with 27WON downpipe (what's on sale now and in the marketing videos)
  2. Non-resonated for use with OEM downpipe (a few months away)
  3. TBD resonated or non-resonated for use with other popular downpipes (a few months away)

I think the sentiment here is that the rollout is poor, not necessarily the product. 27WON has an amazing reputation, so when they release something in a way people don't like, it's bound to create some sore spots.

That’s why I bring up PRL. There was a lot of flack with them for how long it took to release but now everyone stands by it.

I don't necessarily think its in a way people don't like, it's just initially a bit confusing for the people that have aftermarket downpipes already or plan to get one in the future.

From what I gather if you have an aftermarket downpipe or plan to get one in the future then you shouldn't order the catback until later versions come out.

I don't remember their ever being a catback exhaust that ever released in this manner.

I don't think it's that difficult. If you want the turbo back version, then buy it now. If not, wait for them to release catback for OEM/other downpipes.

People want it NOW. I think that's why they released it the way they did. Otherwise, you'd have people here asking, "Where is the exhaust?" every 5 seconds.

I feel like tensions are running high because for a lot of people this feels like it might be the last chance to find an exhaust they really like for this car.

Part of the issue is that 27won did a bad job explaining what they were doing with the rollout. All of this confusion is just that, confusion.

They are also catering to their DP first, regardless of what they say. You don't really expect them to admit it, they jumped on the QC train as their reason. They are using their highly anticipated product to sell their DP. Otherwise they would have released the version for the OEM DP first since that is what the majority of people are running.

Thanks for your reply , i got your point.

But don't know the point why you said " I don't know why they would buy RV6.... "

I'm just curious about what's the advantage of 27WON's DP in your opinion?

Just think of it as an introduction to your wonderful product to the community, Maybe I will buy one and try it right away after listening to your introduction.
Oh, because I was genuinely curious as to why someone would when I don't see any obvious advantageous to it. It is just slightly cheaper so it has that going for it. Of course there are other reason to buy products...But if there was an obvious reason, that's good feedback for us to go and improve what we offer for the market on our stuff 😀

Why the 27WON DP? 200 Cell (less restriction) vs 300 Cell cat. Longer warranty. Last I checked our inlet side is bigger as well, but don't quote me on that.

There is a full official thread here with the rollout info and this same info is on the product listing so multiple places to get it.

Sorry, again to repeat this is NOT accurate "They are using their highly anticipated product to sell their DP."

Not much goes into building a dp. it's literally two pieces of pip welded to a cat.
However it's not a very good look for someone at 27won to be talking down on someone else company especially when they are not here to defend themselves.

Not sure about talking down...it was a legitimate question I had. I got some good responses.

I like that you guys posted actual horsepower numbers of the gains you saw with your downpipe on the same page as your product:

Most other companies just state “less restrictive”, “off-road use only”, “hp gains.” But don’t post any proof.

Got mine today and installed it. WOW it sounds great paired with the downpipe and the Phearable stage 2 tune with type s pops and burbles. Finally feel like the car sounds like it drives. Way deeper than stock and not obnoxious at all. Love it, thanks a ton @Vlad@27WON and the 27Won team, great product and glad I waited. Word to the wise, definitely not ideal to install on Jack stands, if you can access a lift, boy howdy that would have made this a lot easier.
