Thanks. It looks like there are freight forwarding services that will buy it on my behalf (the sites are blocking my payment from a non US credit card).

I really hope all the comments about the ITS ADS unit being a worthy upgrade are accurate. At least for those of us without a track nearby.
I've read mixed reviews, but the majority of folks seem to believe it's an "upgrade" over the FL5 ADS. Anyhow, if you decide you need someone in the U.S. to receive the part and ship it to you in AUS, I'm happy to help.

Thanks. I really appreciate that. I’ll let you know how I go. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the CTR ADS module more there is something wrong with the roads where I live. They are getting worse. Rather than replacing asphalt with asphalt they are just spraying tar and then scattering gravel and pressing it with a roller. So bad.

After a few months driving with ITS ADS, it is definitely better than FL5 OEM ADS. However, don't expect 'magic'. It is still stiff, it won't be FK8's level of comfort. However, it makes it 'more livable'.

I still have the ITS ADS installed in my FL5, but decided to upgrade to Ohlins DFV Road & Track coilover. Finally, I'm content with the suspension (ride quality & steering response + comfort).

Just heard back that new ETA is mid May
I asked if it was possible to cancel, and they canceled my order lmao....They said they misunderstood. I didn't even want to cancel I just wanted to make sure. AcuraPartsForLess o_O

Damn that sucks. I guess the somewhat good news is that people who just ordered seem to have the same ETA as me who ordered in February. Maybe there will be a huge shipment in May. I placed my order the day before buying the car after reading about how "Unbearable" "Rock hard" "Bouncy" the FL5 is. Honestly if I hadn't read those criticisms, I would not have seen the need to change anything with the suspension. I'll just continue to wait and if this module does significantly improve the dynamics of the car I will be ecstatic.

I'm just going to order from AllDiscountParts at this point. Also all the prices on the ADS went up.

That's good to know. If it takes out even a small amount of the vibration I'm getting in the cabin then the small investment will be worth it.

I'd love to hear your take on the Ohlins. I've been keen to go down that path but as the handling is such a massive part of why I love the CTR, I was worried about ruining it.

Just ordered through AllDiscountParts with an eta of 13/5/2024. I had to use a freight forwarding service to make the purchase (all the Acura parts sites won’t post to Aus or accept non-US credit cards which is super annoying).

Fingers crossed i get it in a reasonable time.

Looking forward to a slightly more cushy ride.

How about the ‘bounciness’ during very hard cornering? As others have said, I can stand the ‘harsh’ ride. I love it. It’s the pogo sticking on even slightly uneven pavement during at-the-limit handling that bothers me. It’s laughably bad in an otherwise perfect (to me) sports car.

This is great news. Hopefully that means the frieght forwarding service will get it soon. I'm so excited to try this. Out of interest, has anyone tried adding sound deadening under the rear seats while they are up?
