You and I both. Remember that Integra Spy Shot I posted earlier this month and almost everyone was saying it wasn’t a Liftback.

Doesn't sound like a vehicle with torque converter. That sounds DCT or Manual, something with actual clutches.
That is surprising, coming from acura.

I actually had one of the first Integras imported into the US back in the day (3 door LS liftback). Great car. Might be time to buy another.

IF the rendering is indeed "accurate," we should be getting an actual bespoke Acura model, not a rebadged Civic Hatch.
I see frameless windows too, which may or may not be on the production model.

I thought the mysterious vehicle was a mule (which might still be true) but never doubted it will come in a 5 door configuration.
I'm so glad that it will be a slick "5 door Coupe" type vehicle, not a regular hatch/liftback.

I really hope Acura proves us wrong and puts a 6MT in there, but I'm not holding my breath...

The only reason I think they might offer a manual, at least on the lower end one, is cause there's no 1.5T Sport or Si hatchback, it's like they left a gap intentionally. To fill that properly they'd need a manual. Probably cheaper than a DCT too so they can lower the intro price.
