2 different cars can't even compare them except they're sedans and both can have manual transmission.

For the price of the CT5BW I'd rather have a C8 Z06 or a Cayman GT4 but thats just me.

The joy of the CTR (hot hatchbacks in general) is that its a do everything car. I wouldn't want to give that up.

No. But I lived most of my life with no access to a Type R, so I’m keeping this thing.

The Caddy is a fast, heavy car. Maybe too fast, "bull in a China shop" fast. I've ridden in a friend's 600+hp/600+ft-lb Camaro. It's fun for the 3 seconds 0-60, but doesn't feel special otherwise. Magnetic shocks feel sloppy in comfort mode.

Also, GM doesn't seem to have good parts support once the cars are out of production. Honda does much better in this regard.

This was one of my main concerns when cross shopping a CT4-V BW with the FL5. Nearly all replacement parts have to come from GM, zero aftermarket parts availability. And with low production numbers, I imagine this will be problematic.

As for the CT5-V, it has had more than a few reports of engine failure.

Totally different cars in totally different price points, not really comparable.

But yes, if you told me here is a CT5 and all you have to do is give us the FL5 Id trade it in a heard beat.

The BW at my last track day dumped all of its oil after 1/2 a lap 👎 car had about 1500 miles on it. Practically brand new.
