Stopped by Formula Honda. The FL5 is sold and gone... still waiting to see one in person. Lmk if any other GTA dealership has one on display.
Mississauga and Belleville (West City) got theirs earlier this week. Some one on here said Toronto Honda did as well.

West City Honda was a red one.

Went to the owners wife I believe.

This is so bullshit, my sales rep at formula Honda doesn’t say shit. Just yesterday he said the type r is unsold, no pdi done, and don’t know who’s going to get it. Now it’s on kijiji, and members saying it’s sold. This dealer is straight up a cuck. I just msged him about the kijiji post and @kopite44’s sold confirmation. I wanted to swing by to take a look today too.
Yup, lol. I hope all Canadians blast formula for how they mistreated customers and straight up review bomb them. I know I will be :)

I have a feeling it's not going to be as limited as it seems. They have artificially limited supply just like Apple does when it releases a new iPhone to throttle demand.

We weren't even expecting seeing type Rs by early November and here we are. Looks like their supply chain is on time and on plan

Spent a good 20 minutes drooling over the red FL5. Walked away very impressed.
Takeaways: the car looks aggressive. The bespoke body panels really shine through giving the car an aesthetically pleasing power stance. The feeling I got was if an RS3 came with a giant wing.
A lady passing by remarked "looks like it goes very fast."

I didn't find the car sedan like in person. It's about as long as my 9th gen SI Coupe. But looks snubbier due to the increased width and low stance. Can definitely tell it's got traditional hatchback roots while still displaying Coupe like lines.

The red and black combination works a treat, the lines of the wing flow very well with the rest of the car.

Anyways, that was my 2 cents and I cant wait to check out the other colors as they become available!

Exactly. Don't loose hope. If I was Honda seeing how much money is left on the table, I'd make the Type S expensive and cannibalize the crazy retail flipper market of new CTRs.

Not much different than Porsche did with the manual gt3 after the crazy 911R. Different League but same story here.

Definitely worth the in-person look at Toronto Honda. Here are a few snaps I took—its stance and presence truly don’t come through in photos alone. With my FL1 to compare to, the FL5 has a lot of great, aggressive design cues that separate it from the regular Civic Hatchback and are very pleasing to appreciate! Thank you @kopite44 for the confirmation!
