It has been bugging to know if a FL5 cluster works in a SI. I have a 2024, and I just plugged it in. Sadly, the damper message appears. I also cannot control the cluster because the steering wheel switches are different. I just purchased on Ebay a type-r wheel with the switches so that will be in by the end of week. Would be nice to be able to control the cluster.

Curious. Does the mileage stay with the cluster? I would think not but never know.

So far as I have heard the mileage is stored on the ECU.

That is something I do not know. Right now I can't even tell mileage on the Type-R cluster as I do not have controls for the steering wheel. I just went on eBay though to buy a used type-r wheel with controls. So we will see. I could always plug the US spec in then go drive 5 miles and let you know where the mileage stays.

Small update, in case the Type-R cluster is not going to work I was able to get a quote from a Canadian dealer $839.33 + tax, so about %900.00. I was told no warranty etc.. not sure I am goign to want to swing that amount of money.

Can someone on here that has a Canadian Si let me know what the screens look like in different modes? I am just curious what that would be. Also, I think we all know the R-Mode button is what switches the cluster to the race dash.. would need to test that..

Is that Canadian or US? Even the US cluster for the Integra doesn't cost that much. Yeah, I just did the conversion and it's about $625 plus tax.

The US Integra cluster is $666 and probably cheaper if you shop it. Sounds like the Canadian Si cluster should be around the same.

Mileage is stored on cluster. Page from Honda's procedure for installing new gauge clusters and rewriting odo mileage:

That is very beneficial thanks for noting this! I was just going to test it, but now I do not have to!

There was a post on 11th Gen Civic Si Owners on Facebook from 12/10/23 where someone claimed to swap an Integra digital cluster into an Si and the correct mileage displayed on the cluster. I tried to follow up with him, but I didn't get any responses. Maybe there's a chance...

When you say integra you mean the Type-S correct? Wouldn't that have some suspension adjustment ADS system as well? - I still think the Canadian SI cluster would be best bet.

*update on the Type-r Steering wheel, it will be here Friday (UPS), so I can hook up the controls to see if I can control the cluster.

All Integra's get the digital cluster which is why the US spec Si probably got jipped.

Ahh, thank you for that information. I guess my question is, does the type-S have better setting, more display options? I ordered the switches from Honda yesterday for "R-mode" I do not know what other type of switch would allow the cluster to change into he race-inspired one..

I will keep the Integra cluster in mind, though I believe the Canadian cluster would be suitable.

Curious, does the integra cluster in your si retain the capability to display boost, etc.?

I don't have one, I was saying the Integra cluster is fully digital.
