Just curious - Could the dealer wish to keep the car at the rail yard 15 miles away until the start of the New Year for tax purposes?more central florida dealers got their cars...you're this week or early next
Nope, I will probably be the last. And maybe never after I lost my patience , yesterday. Lol. You guys drove me to itTold you too that I'd be last - LOL! Patience is growing very thin......
No, that's not how it works. I'm not really sure which tax purposes that would help either. They could just park it in service. Mines still not here either.Just curious - Could the dealer wish to keep the car at the rail yard 15 miles away until the start of the New Year for tax purposes?
THANKS! Any info on where your's is? Mine's 15 miles away at a CSX rail yard "waiting for a trucker," which it has been for a week. Go figure....No, that's not how it works. Last update was a few weeks ago that it was at the rail yard. I know my dealer is pretty upset they don't have the car yet. Once Honda puts it in their inventory they have to start paying for it. I have a friend who owns a car transport company and he's going to check the yard for me when he gets back in town Monday. Which yard is yours in? Tampa?THANKS! Any info on where your's is? My sales guys have been working really hard to get it over as well. They seem to be at the mercy of the truck carriers.Last update was a few weeks ago that it was at the rail yard. Mines stuck at the Jax yard. If yours was there I'd have him check for you. My dealer is 4 miles from the rail yard. It was to quote the Honda rep "a few days out" two weeks ago. If it's there he said he could actually deliver it for me too since he contracts with the company who hauls them.Yep, 7001 Anderson Road.
I'm totally ignorant about car carriers, etc. and don't wish to flame them unfairly, but dealers in my area are getting new 2023 models almost daily based upon their website inventories. What determines which cars they deliver any particular day; is it "first in - first out," distance, waiting for repairs, dealer preferences, or just basic laziness? I'd imagine it's waiting on the rail yard workers to get it ready to be loaded. I figure they are slow working right now due to the holidays.I'm totally ignorant about car carriers, etc. and don't wish to flame them unfairly, but dealers in my area are getting new 2023 models almost daily based upon their website inventories. Congratulations!!!Did not spend much time with it as it will be off to ppf soon. I took a good vid and one front straight shot. Honestly i was too taken aback that it was there - it was like staring into the eyes of a mythical creature - still processing it all.
