Still can’t believe Colorado cars aren’t here yet. Was a 12/3-12/7 updated date after the port fiasco lol

So I finally got mine. This whole week has been rough for me because I actually got COVID from a patient at the hospital that I work at. This was scary because I have both an auto immune disease thats wreaking havoc on my lungs. Between COVID and the cold weather (Raynauds Disease) I was getting so fucked up. I do believe that if I wasn't up to date with my boosters things could have gone bad really quickly.

Friday was coincidentally the day that I started to feel better and that morning I got a text from the dealership telling me that the car had come in. Took a good chunk of the day dealing with everything and when I finally got home I was exhausted and just went to bed. I do feel alot better today and don't feel like I'm sick anymore except for a slight cough, and nasal congestion. Was able to go to the gym (nobody was there, and I wiped everything down) and I did an intense workout,. So that should mean that I recovered, definitely couldn't have done that a few days ago

Man…this car was easily worth the wait even though I almost gave up multiple times

it reminds me of back 17 when I picked up my fk8 and how happy it made me

to be honest this is an fk8 but more refined, the acceleration is so smooth, the gearbox feels smoother, the car only has 16 miles after stopping at my folks to show them before coming home so it’s hard to say what handles better
Congrats! I’m glad you finally got yours!

I'm super happy to see a bunch of you receiving your cars! I haven't been on the forum for a few days (between driving the car and the holidays) and I was hopeful others (especially tuhroo) had taken delivery.

Hopefully, later batches won't run into these delivery issues, at least to this extent. Though this experience has seemed to bond us (first allocations) together to some extent.

i can assure you it's not honda at this point, it's definitely a weather delay and you being in MN is right in the heart of that dangerous weather

my wife's hrv had a delivery date of 12/03-07 and it keeps getting pushed back daily and they said it might not even show until first week of january now

really hoping your car comes in before the new year man, i was just as salty as you...but once you see it, all will be forgotten

Weather isn't really an excuse for my car. Seems everyone else in the region has been delivered. I really don't know understand what the hold up is on my car.

with your car, 100% not the issue

they may be looking to get it on a full truck...my car was on a truck loaded with 7 cars for us and 2 for acura across the street

i'd expect it this week for sure

Beyond salty - contemplating other potential options. It is Honda, they own this travesty. Weather explains two days, what about supposedly sitting in a holding yard 6 hours away for over three weeks. If I take delivery this will be a dark overhang on the car. Every time I get in I fear Ill be bitter.
