This is a Japan-only interior package, not a special edition. I wouldn't read anything into it.Agree. When these special edition vehicles begin that typically spells the end is near. In related news, Toyota recently announced the A90 Final Edition. Looks like that one is coming to an end also.
Honda will simply engineer another baffle within the exhaust to meet requirements. The Prelude is a complete turd compared to the FL5, but that's a whole different conversation.Sure dealers can lie but can Honda break the law? The type R is an international product that won't meet EU regulations and seems like Japanese regulations. Like you can search for the new reg and the current Type R engine exhaust pollution amount, no way the same engine coming back. There is a reason a type S was made lol. Easier to kill off the Type R and keep the Type S going for NA. Plus things like the prelude are coming back. I suspect at the very most a hybrid version coming.
I like the red more. The fabric on the dash looks rough, I'm guess this is a pre-production model?
Dealers in the USA don’t know anything. In 2023 all the ones around me told me $10k markup was the best I was going to see because only a few hundred FL5s would ever be imported here and these were going to be super rare. The following year I bought one near MSRP and there have been several thousand imported into the US. They are either lying or misinformed and are definitely trying to sell you a car.Was chatting with my dealer today and they indicated that there is a chance that we get the Black edition here as a final sendoff, as all indications are that 2025 is the last year. That said - I'm sure he could also be saying that to move the 2025s that he has![]()
Yeah, that will be one badass $80k ITS if it’s loaded with ALL the HRC stuff. I want it too.I just want the HRC Type S lol
Photoshop my friend.I like the red more. The fabric on the dash looks rough, I'm guess this is a pre-production model?
You’re correct. 100% Photoshopped.Photoshop my friend.
Yeah zoomed in, that looks 100% photoshopped. We'll have to wait till next month I guess to get a better look.Photoshop my friend.
That tells me almost for certain that 2025 is the end of the line for the current R.
