That’s pretty wild considering I watched them do the whole thing through the window. Also, it’s not the first time that cars don’t have the right toe Settings from the factory to begin. with.

What about the cars with ridged collars and race alignments. How is that handled at your shop ?

Haven’t had one yet but id assume if theyre one time use your kinda SOL. And depending on what kind of machine your dealer has the alignment should be no issue. We deal with cambered cars all the time. Only should need to adjust toe after the recall

They are not one time use. they usually sit inside of the space of the subframe, so it could fall out when the subframe is moved

Depending on how much torque was applied, they “crush” to fill the gap. If they come out when subframe is removed, you likely won’t get them back in if they were crushed/deformed. So technically they are one time use.

The screenshot I took is from the Spoon collars. The PRL SRS collars are a different type of aluminum and I don’t think crush/conform.

This is exactly why I'm waiting. My car drives fine no issues.

Sorry on the late update, was enjoying the car and forgot lol . Picked up the car on tuesday, i requested for alignment sheet which they did provide, car drives straight and drove home in silence to hear for any loose bolts or whatever and seems totally fine! But if i did have a choice Id probably wait a month or so as many cars are going/coming in for this recall, we have to drop off my gfs new hrv for same thing

I spoke with the Parts Department at my local dealer. They said they are hearing the recall will be updated so the subframe does not need to be dropped. There will be a part available to allow the recall to be completed without having to do such.

Nice. They will gonna have to remove the fender line and will probably fuck up my carbon screen/mudflaps which was kinda a pain to install. Might have to remove before I go get it done but this is much much better

I'm worried about the removal of my aftermarket wheels and lugs. Unfortunately, I may need to put my stocks back on before doing this.
