Sorry to hear. So was the poor QC the fuel line that’s now being replaced or another hardware issue?
Other hardware that was sent. I've actually talked with 3 others who have had issues with the hpfp. And by the looks of it a lot of people are having issues.
It looks to be full race and nostrom rushed to get them into the market.

That is not good to hear. I've always had great experiences in the past with Full Race. It is hard for me to imagine that Geoff would rush something to market with their name on the product.

When you do the HPFP bolts and the adapter bolts, be VERY careful. They are very easy to over torque and you absolutely should use a known good torque wrench.

We have sold a few dozen of these pumps and thankfully have not had any customers report any issues. Regardless we are glad to see Full Race being proactive regarding the potential issue and making sure that everyone is taken care of as best as possible.

I agree! nothing is perfect and there’s always going to be that small percentage of mishaps unfortunately. Definitely appreciate Full-Race/Nostrum taking care of the situation to the best of their ability.

I am referring to communication from our customers to us. We log several thousand of such conversations with customers each month, ranging from pre-sale questions to post sale discussions.

I understand. You wouldn't know if they have a issue in less they communicate it with you. I just don't understand why they would reach out to a vendor rather than the manufacturer. That just sounds weird ?

Super common actually. In many cases that is a value add that we offer. Some manufacturers (or distributors) are great to deal with directly. Others, not so much. Buying from an authorized dealer such as ourselves puts us on your side if there are any complications with your product.

In a perfect world, any retail customer could get quick and easy help from any manufacturer. Unfortunately, that is not reality and we are more than happy to advocate for our customers whenever needed.

That sounds great. However I couldn't even get y'all to make a shipping label for fedex and email it to IND distribution for my eventuri intake and inlet. A different vendor stepped up and got it done for me. So I'm a bit skeptical of your answers lol
There are two sides to every story and I don't think a public argument would benefit either of us nor would it fall within forum guidelines. Regardless I am happy that Unity was able to take care of you, they are a great partner of ours and we work with them daily.

Perhaps we have gotten too far into the weeds and should direct ourselves to the original forum topic. :)

Hello everyone,


We just wanted to hop in here to thank everyone for their understanding and patience, as well as provide some more information in response to a few posts here.

To give some insight into what happens when an issue is reported, we work side by side with Nostrum to perform a full investigation on any claims made. We had a handful of cases involving the fuel line that were caused by user installation error. Specifically, the high pressure line wasn't being positioned correctly prior to seating the compression nut, and further tightening the nut in an attempt to stop a small leak just makes the issue worse. This is a deformative connection by design, as used by many OE's in high pressure fuel applications, and not having this aligned properly will cause irreparable damage to the fitting which requires line replacement. We can determine that was the root issue by examining the witness marks on the line.

One later investigation led Nostrum to identify a failure that was not related to user installation, as mentioned above. This led to a closer look into the manufacturing process, and the investigation summary is that a recent change in the manufacturing process was responsible for the potential issue. To be transparent, the rate of failure has been just under 3%. Because we stand behind our product, we immediately halted shipments of pumps and corrected the process. There are a number of operational countermeasures that have been implemented as a result of the investigation. We then had lines made for every customer who had already purchased our pump before continuing production of new pumps.

Most of you should have received your lines by now, if you haven't, please reach out to the vendor you purchased from so we can get one headed your way. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, but we want to ensure no stone is left unturned and all risk is reduced, regardless of how small, as our reputation and trust with our customers is our #1 priority. We have been operating in this industry for 22 years, and intend to be around a lot longer.

As for Tougefl5’s comments, I believe some context should be added to his posted picture and issue. His leak was not due to anything with the fuel line, but the two bolts holding the HPFP had sheared off. We sent the pictures he provided to Nostrum and it's not something they had seen happen before - or since. We both agreed it was due to over torqueing, the M6 stainless steel hardware is going into aluminum, easy to do as it should only be torqued to 14 Nm (10 ft-lb). We’ve seen his posts saying we use “junk” hardware and wanted to assure our customers that his issue has been a one off, and unrelated to this thread.

This pump has been anything but rushed to market. It has been meticulously designed, developed, and tested to be the best possible high pressure fuel pump solution available. Mistakes unfortunately do happen from time to time, but we hope we can continue to build your trust in our products by taking the correct countermeasures and ensuring you have the best product available in your hands.

I know this is an old thread that seems to have been derailed but I wanted to make sure to document my experience for the community and anyone else running the Full Race HPFP kit.

I purchased my Full Race HPFP kit 9/29/2025 from TSP and just experienced the HP fuel line failure this weekend at the track. The leak was at the connection to the fuel rail.

The hardline supplied with my kit is shown on the right and Nostrum sent me the replacement on the left ~4/15/2026 after I reached out to them asking for a spare hard line. I reached out to them because I had seen a fellow track enthusiast had a failure via social media and I wanted to have a solution if that happened to me.

I had ~1500 street miles, a dyno tuning session, and 1.5 track weekends (~9 twenty minute sessions) before my hard line failed on track this past weekend.

You'll notice from the photo that Nostrum/Full Race added the p-clamp to the new line and updated the routing to allow the line to be secured in a similar fashion to the OEM line.

I now have only 1 time attack session on the new setup but I can keep this thread posted with updates since my car is pretty heavily tracked and should be a good test mule (edit: After seeing everyone else having failures, including with the new revision of the line, I put my stock pump back on!).

When I was researching this topic, it looked like people were recommending a flexible high pressure line which 4 piston and the XDI HPFP both run. This seems like an interesting option and I'm curious how the reliability is with those (edit: have learned that these options are not compatible with the full race pump!).

I will say that Nostrum/Full Race took this very seriously and were quick to ship out the replacement line. If you do not have the latest version of the line, you should reach out to them to get one.

Sorry to hear about the issue but thank you for sharing details and PICs of the replacement high-pressure fuel line. I ordered the Full Race HPFP kit directly from them on 27 November 2025. I have yet to install it but just verified that the high-pressure fuel line in the box is the the older style. I have since sent an email to Full Race inquiring about receiving the updated replacement high-pressure fuel line.
