Is there such thing as a padded car cover that protects from hail?

I ask because even though I have a 2 car carport on my house, my last car got about $3500 in damage on the rear hatch and quarters by some pretty extreme sideways hail a couple of years back.
It totaled lots of cars, put holes in people vinyl siding, busted out windows, etc.
Anyway, hail seems to be more and more of a thing in Arkansas, and I want a little bit more protection without having to spend $100K or more to build a garage.

Yes, there are padded car covers. You could also get one of those pop up car canopies as well.

I don't know man, I lived in Dallas and remember some baseball sized hail. I don't even think a typical garage roof can stop that stuff. I was going to build a 4 car pole barn a few years back and my quotes were around $20K. I don't know how much they are now, but that with a tin roof would be a good option if you could swing it.

Is there anyway to attach a temporary side piece or end piece on your carport in case of bad weather?

what i do if there's a hail storm coming is grab several comforters that i'm not using and drape them over the car. throw a couple pillows under it to cushion. kinda a pain in the ass to dry everything afterwards but it works. you could also get one of those pop up tents. although might be blow away by wind.

@AUGM1 ,
Excellent question. Gotta wonder why OE manufacturers don't offer something like this... AT LEAST for their top tier, top priced premium vehicles (Ahem!, Type R, Type S).

@type r fanatic ,
This "In The Garage" bubble cover looks like a great way to make my Type R the Christmas Lawn Ornament to finally "blow" out (see what I did th--- , uhh) all my neighbors' Christmas Lawn Ornaments. Those things are friggin corny, although some are creative and fun to see. My Type R inside one of these "Snow Globes" would send 'em all inside crying.

Back to reality.
My #2 concern with something like this, going off the brand name "In The Garage"... isn't this an indoor only bubble cover? Seems like the Sun would end up eating through that bubble plastic within a matter of months.

My #1 main concern is the fact that it always needs constant electricity to run the intake and exhaust fans. Great for airflow, but super taxing on the electric bill!!! Also, what happens during a power outage? An outage, in my experience, is most likely to happen during a severe weather event, such as rain + wind + HAIL. Then what?

What would be awesome to see would be a combination of sorts. Something like several different 5 to 6 inch thick "air mattress" style body and glass panels that can, say, Velcro to the inside of a proper oversized FL5 Type R or Integra Type S heavy duty OUTDOOR car cover. The individual mattress panels could be removed for cleaning, and the cover would be machine washable. The cover kit should also include a proper foot pump for easy non-electric mattress panel inflation. Individual, and therefore relatively small, mattress panels would be easy to inflate manually (and yes, time consuming), rather than relying on electricity to do all the work. Also, if one panel gets a leak, it could be purchased and replaced separately instead of having to buy a whole new cover kit.

Expensive as Hell initial purchase?
For sure.

Worth the premium price to protect your expensive and unique vehicle?
I think it is.

Anyone out there seeing this who can make this happen?

Thanks for the great idea, @AUGM1 !!!

Cheers.
