It’s super easy to install. Took me 30 min or less. Remove the 2 screws for rear tray. Remove the rear seats. A few 10mm and a bolt through the seat rod. You will need a trim tool to pop up the seat carpet It it attached to the seat this must be done before the bolts. The drivers side rear side airbag plastic must come out. 1 bolt down under the seat you removed. 1 bolt under a plastic square cover. After that it’s 2 10mm holding in the module and a clip. EZ PZ
Did you have any issues putting that 10m bolt in under the back seat? I swear it would not go in for me and I had to use a lot of force and feel like I stripped it in there. Tia.

OMG I just got done installing my ITS ADS unit in my car and I had the same problem getting that 10mm fastener for the back seat started. It was the hardest part of the install. I've only gone around the block so I haven't really tested it out fully. I just wanted to make sure I had all of the drive modes.

I struggled with that rear seat fastener also. I ended up using another bolt that I had in my toolbox that worked better ................

Installed ITS ADS this morning after waiting for 2 months, drive around and I can confirm that it is indeed the best $220 mod. It makes 2023 FL5 suspension similar to my 2019 FK8 on each mode, I do not notice any lost of sharpness of FL5 (I'm on 19" Honda Accessories OEM wheels with 265 30 19 Michelin PS4S). Love the driving feel. definitely recommended .

For those that are struggling with the 10mm seat bolt, try folding the seat back forward 45 degrees. Makes it easier to take out and put back in.

Not bad advice. I just used a 6 inch extension on my 1/4 ratchet and it was pretty easy to loosen. Feel around with your fingers to find approximately where it is first.

I put mine in today. The car really should’ve come like this. It’s so much better.
I'm coming up on 2 weeks since I installed the ADS unit and I kind of have a different take. While I'm not sorry I did the mod I don't find the ride that dramatically different. Maybe it's because I didn't find the stock ride unbearably stiff in the first place. I find the ride just subtly more compliant since the install.

How cold are temperatures where you are? And what other car(s) are you used to driving?

Over here we’re in the 30s-40s F, and the stock suspension is pretty brutal. This effect is increased by my only comparison being an RS3 which is very comfortable considering its performance.

The ITS ADS doesn’t turn my FL5 into a boat, but it is noticeably (25%?) less harsh while still being quite firm and composed, even in comfort. But I might have had less problems with the stock ADS if I was driving in summer or if my other car was also very firm.

My issue with the stock FL5 isn’t the harshness of the ride, it’s the bouncing under hard cornering. It’s extraordinarily bad. And I’m guessing the ITS ADS won’t be enough to significantly reduce that.

Type S module tones it down but doesn’t eliminate the bounce. My .$02.

Well I did my best to wait, but I pulled my order with AllDiscountParts--after waiting since mid-November, I still had 19 orders ahead of me. Brutal!

They just emailed me and said the ETA is 04/05/2024 and expect to fulfill their entire back order as of now
