Maybe I missed it, but did you ever get the front Cusco brace situated with the Mugen dampers?

I finally got in the correct hardware and will be seeing if it now can clear. I'll be reporting back before Friday. I finally cleaned 90% of my workbench and reorganized my tools so I'm excited to make a mess again over the coming months haha.

Pracworks intake manifold arrived! I ordered mine through Michael via email to get a custom order in. Great customer service all around. Pracworks had this made a shipped out to me within 3 weeks from Malaysia. Huge props for great business transactions.

I ordered large weave carbon kevlar with nickel finish. Nothing fancy on the config for the intake as I don't have plans to go bigger TB or port injection.

Inside of the manifold....

Got my ECU back from Cobb yesterday. I had sent it out Thursday afternoon and they had it shipped out by Friday noon. Unfortunately they didn't schedule for Saturday delivery from UPS so it sat around all week until Monday. Crazy how they include all this in the price of the tuner. Going to reflash tonight for my morning drive to work then hopefully I'll have time this coming weekend to install the valve cover and the manifold. I'm going to guess my wife made plans for the weekend and I just can't remember right now. 🙃

Final piece of the front suspension puzzle has arrived!

Spoon Zero Bump Steer Kit

I'm always curious how legit the made in Japan is with parts like this since they go through other companies to private label products to their spec. I think most of the suspension components are made by Hardrace. The Spoon spec on this kit is +4mm taller while the Hardrace one is +5mm taller. We'll see how it goes as I had points to spend on Blackhawk so got these for "cheap" haha.

Looks well made at least. Monday I'll have the shop install these and the Powerflex stuff and then I retire from suspension mods for the moment and move onto....

Installed the Checked Sports Element 50 mount. I picked up the combo with the extinguisher included as it's better pricing than buying separately.

Powder coated finish is really good and craftsmanship is excellent.

Ignore clipless floor mat haha. Going to try screw type clips from a VW as I don't want to cut 4 holes in the carpet.

I have those floormats too and love the way the look, interested to see what you come up with for clips.

How well is the extinguisher secured? I'd probably do passenger side too just to keep things away from my feet.

I'll update when they arrive. 👍

The extinguisher is clipped in snuggly. Definitely won't be coming out under high g forces haha. Yeah they make for driver side as well but I rather keep my area clear too.

Also how do you use the extinguisher?
You just take off the top cap then take the bottom yellow cap (starter) and strike the top. There's no expiration date on these so it's a worthwhile investment.

I'm still searching for a Master Honda Tech to assist me with the install as I want to learn the process. It's been over 2 decades since I messed with anything internal on a motor.

Shop is working on the Spoon Zero Bump Steer Kit and the Powerflex Front Bushings and Anti-lift Kit. If I can't tell a damn difference I'll retire from ever messing with cars again and just stick with sim racing.

Won't be getting the car back until later this afternoon. Shop owner didn't have time to finish the install unfortunately. It's looking like I found the right people to work with to do the headwork while being able to document and shadow them to learn a bit. We're shooting for the weekend of the 20th. Meanwhile I got some time to gather more parts since we'll be removing the head. I'm in that "might as well get it done since xyz gotta come off" mode. FML hahaha.
