Hi Bros! Went to do my oil change and checked the pressure in my tires after. I noticed tire rot on one of the wheels an the sidewall. I went to check the other tires and noticed that they also have rotting in the same places. I contacted Michelin through their website to find if warranty was covered.
this is what they replied:
"Thanks for contacting the Michelin Consumer Care Team.
We are sorry to hear you are having a sidewall cracking issue with your tires.
Sidewall cracking is commonly related to ozone interaction with rubber, but depending on the severity, it may only be a cosmetic issue that does not affect tire performance or safety."
* anybody experience rotting? please check.
I purchased the FL5 from the dealership with 7 miles on it back in May 2025came with the OEM stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/30ZR19
Ozone... really?
