I have just a 25 dollar AD310 that i used to use to read stuffs on my 09 corolla laying around. Ended up ordering the autel and read it again and nothing showed up. Now i gotta take the car to the dealer because these is a whining sound only in second gear.

some gear whine is normal. also the a/c compressor can make a faint whining noise, especially at low load. do you have a video/sound clip of the noise? maybe we can tell you if it's normal or not.
