Missed shift 3rd to 2nd with resulting added NVH

It's starting to get warmer outside. The engine vibrates a lot more when the AC is running. This could just be a coincidence?

As others have said learn proper hand placement so it doesn't happen again.

it's a good point but all testing is conducted with A/C off. this includes datalogging as a result of extended drive period.

Small, random, misfires are normal. All engines misfire to some degree, simply because the combustion process and timing isn’t 100% perfect at all times, under all conditions. An actual, serious, misfire will cause a CEL…and the sensors in these cars will definitely pick it up quickly. I think you may be driving yourself crazy with over analysis dude.

road speed was 65 max in 2nd? Not an issue

I can almost guarantee the engine is fine. There's not going to be any bearing issues from this, its not like you spun it to 10k rpm lol.

Did you look under the car and check the RMM or any other mounts to see if the sudden jerk loosened anything up? A money shift adds a ton of stress to the mounts and can tear/loosen up the rubber.

Have not checked rmm yet it was set at specced 69 lb/ft iirc I'll have to check it.

The good news is that I'm still on the next step of oil analysis and this far hVe been unable to recreate the noise issue

If you did money shift. Replace your springs. It’s not overly expensive and can save you trouble. Could be as simple as that.

also I did a very correct breakin I've changed oil several times by 5k so when I get the oil reading any lack or presence of solids in the oil based on that will be an indicator clear as day. It's not looking too bad as of now after ongoing monitoring

It’s driver error not the FL5’s fault . I’ve done it also and not just with the FL5. I’m not a pro but just a seasoned track day guy .

So, it’s inconsistent? It went away, then came back? This doesn’t make any sense…at least not with respect to potential engine damage. Someone else mentioned checking your motor mounts. Have you done that?
