Love the CBP but black is a bitch to keep clean even when ceramic coated. Maybe I'm just lazy lol

No, it is hard to keep clean. I had it squeaky clean last Sunday and it looks as if I had neglected it for a month.

Hey - this may help... I'm much more of a silver or smoke metallic type of person...with deep maroons and black a distant third and fourth... so given the color options of this car, SGP was my first choice. Well... we surely don't have much choice at this time, as we're lucky to get any at all... and the car that came up for me was the crystal black. That was great, but i wasn't initially excited about the color.

IT'S A BEAUTY!!

Yes, as someone pointed out... the matching spoiler (match by default) is a key to the looks...along with the way the red highlights on the car (brakes/honda logos) are all coordinated against the all-black is just an eye-catcher. It's mean... it just looks badass. LOL Additionally, that "crystal" black just shimmers in the light. It has a custom look to it.

Unless you are adamantly against black (such as being in a very hot southern location), you would love this in black...plus, you don't have to pay the upgrade paint color!

we need more crystal black photos. There's only 30+ right now in the US and all black really pops the red seats inside . White was my #1 choice when the FL5 released but the CBP grew on me and took that spot. Just make sure to get full ceramic coating

Wow, only 30? This forum has been such a wealth of info... i owe you all a look, so i will get some photos for you.

As to the ceramic coating... i read up on it, and i saw a lot of negs and warnings about ceramic coatings. Now i see that you are encouraging it. What's the reality?

finally got out on a dry, not-freezing day while the sun was still up. lol

here's the photos i promised. that black is sooo reflective -- it was hard to get a good pic of the car -- it's like an invisibility shield. lol...
