Hello all! I know the PRL intake and inlet work good with no tune and not causing a CEL. Is that still the case for wide open throttle track conditions? I'm not really looking to tune the car at this time, because I want to get comfortable with the cars power as is before I add more. I have the PRL HVI and it works great, no CEL and sounds fantastic! I see the sale running right now for 15% off PRL products so I figure the inlet would be a good addition.

Also, is there additional induction sounds from the inlet? Just the intake sounds great, but do you get more induction sounds pairing it with the intake?

The intake is designed to operate flawlessly without a tune under all throttle conditions. The inlet pipe will enhance sound a bit, but the intake itself is definitely doing the heavy lifting.

We have seen a great customer response from the PRL sale. We are a proud PRL dealer and we are excited at the opportunity to pass these savings onto our customers. 🏎

I've had the intake for a few months now, I was just curious if adding the prl inlet would make more induction noises and if I am wot for a longer period of time on track would it cause a lean condition. Love the intake!

I installed the PRL Carbon inlet before I installed their intake. I can tell you that from inside the car, that piece is not noticeable at all. I compared this with my friend's stock FL5 by driving the cars back to back.

Carbon isn't really a good sound resonance conductor. Titanium is even a better sound resonance conductor than steel or aluminum alloys hence the PRL inlet comes in titanium as well (not to mention titanium exhausts do produce a different exhaust sound compared to steel variants). That being said, even with the titanium, the sound difference is negligible for most people anyway.

I have the PRL carbon inlet pipe (full PRL FBO basically) and it does not noticeably change the sound on my car. It looks cool and maybe frees up a restriction at higher power levels and that is about it.

Also, I've been WOT up and down mountain roads with it on my car and the stock calibration with no issues.
