HondaPro Jason stopped by with his new 2023 Honda Civic Type-R to test fitment a few prototype samples and dive further into product development for the FL5 chassis.

We have confirmed fitment of our existing front strut bar, P700 Drop-In Turbocharger and our new panel air filter. Stay tuned for more products coming soon!

Intercooler yes… downpipe no…. EPA pretty much shut them down from making them anymore from what I was told… any further update on this @PRL Motorsports ?

It would also be nice for PRL to make a front pipe for the FL5 since the FK8 one is slightly different….. but the FK8 down pipe works if you can find one

anything that modifies factory emissions equipment is illegal. I know in VA shops won't sell or install downpipes and emissions is failing cars with modified cats.

Sounds like you live in North Korea. I don’t have emissions testing where I live, and even if I did, as long as you pass you’re good.

Virginia is retarded. Used to live there and have to get my vehicle "tested" every year to continue to drive which is just a big scam for auto shops to ding you for nuanced things.

Except in southern VA, where we don't have emissions. They just do a visual check.

We are currently trying to figure out a direction/decision regarding downpipe offerings, but rest assured that both the front pipe and intercooler have been scanned and are currently at top priority for initial product offerings.

You already know an intake is coming! We are looking into a catback exhaust system for the FL5 as well, so hopefully we can put something together that you'll love here.

typically having a downpipe a tune sets the downstream emissions sensors to ready so it would fail in any states that require emissions.
