Saw this article by motor trend just now, and while it's hard to tell with the wrap, that front bumper looks horrendous...

I'm hoping they're just using that front bumper for testing since the rest looks like a current gen civic.

Here is the full article, some of the stuff in it makes the enthusiast in me gag 😅:

Edit: just a testing prototype, but that article still isn't the best news imo

That is a powertrain test mule, it's an 11th gen with the 12th gen powertrain in it to test it's feasability and capabilities. It is not indicative of the 12th gen design just yet.

Just so you're aware Honda is focusing on N/A hybrid engines again that outperform turbo 4s, word on the street is the V6 Accord will be coming back

Where did you read that?

The article I posted states that they're getting rid of turbos altogether, which could mean that NA engines will return like you said, but with hybrid power trains

99.9999% of test mules that have "camo" wrap is never the actual production car body underneath. That is SOP for test mules so if leaked or photographed they dont let the final product out of the bag too early. Also they're not usually testing the body, more of drivetrain so they dont care (nor should they care) about what it looks like

Can't remember where, notification came up in my news feed. Yes they will be N/A hybrid engines one being a V6 for the large SUVS.

Sounds great for the hybrid setups. Glad S+ is coming to all of them. Also a really interesting idea about allowing some chassis flex to increase traction.

My wife drives a 2025 Hybrid Civic and it's a great car.

Not sure why anyone is upset about this car/drivetrain.
