If you're in the North Texas area, our shop can install these coilovers (and any other coilovers or lowering springs of course, and other mods) for a reasonable price, especially if you dont want to mess around with some of the "workarounds" posted here.

FWIW, another forum member and customer had to have their car towed to us because he severely ripped up an axle seal which we had to repair before we did the Eibach springs and other mods for them.

Is anyone tracking their FL5 on RS-Rs? What's the feedback vs other suspension like KW or Nitrons?

I've spoken with RS-R, best I is not for serious tracking. They have a club racer spec for that. Nitron seems to be the best affordable dual purpose suspension out there.

I'll be starting in November and I already know I'll want to switch to nitron or go back to ast like my fk8. If anything I might increase spring rates at first and swap to swifts.

I have about 3k miles on them with mixed driving and they are great for canyons and daily usage. And keeping the family happy in comfort mode 😂

Agreed, if it's a track car, you have better options out there. Its for the occasional track guys.

RSR are more street-oriented (relatively soft spring rates), For a car that gets tracked there are more track focused options available like the ones you mentioned. A few FK8 and FL5 guys I know that do track days at the Homestead track in Miami are quite fond of S3 coilovers.

I took my FL5 with RSR lowering springs to the track last weekend, and the car felt great and handled well overall.

However, I've been running into an intermittent issue where the adaptive suspension error message randomly pops up whenever I'm driving in +R mode. The warning goes away after I turn the car off and restart it, and it only seems to happen in +R mode.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas what might be causing it?
