Make sure you use one large piece in doors or pieces are connecting. Sound likes to go around.I have started installing everything and this takes a lot more time than I thought it would. So far i have installed NVX CLD. Closed cell foam and 1" double scrimmed thinsulate in the entire hatch area. I am currently working on the rear doors have installed NVX CLD and 1" megazorbe pro in both rear doors. The rear door panels i have applied CLD and lots of thinsulate. I am still working on the inner door skins and will be making block off plates out of 1/32 lead sheets wrapped in CCW.

Are you running the standard damper module or the ITS module?Another big upgrade I did recently is I’m racing in 275/35/19 on stock rims Pirelli pzero corsa’s and the ride and noise is much better. I did get a bit of wheel rub on one side because my front fender liner was sagging because I sound proofed the wheel arches then used some glue to hold it close. Zero metal contact and now zero rub on fender since I glued it closer to metal. It was simply sagging due to the weight of the foam I installed on wheel liner. I’m now able to go to the track and home in super comfort, and even less noise than before. The only downside is gearing is slight increases so it’s off by 2-3 mph and I can feel it on long straight aways at Cota, but then again I have zero wheel hop anymore flooring it first and second, and actually compared to the stock cup 2 and stock 4s lap times I am 2-3 seconds faster at Cota. The best I could do at COTA on oem dt1 4s was ~2.42 cup 2 2.41 and oversized 275/35 stock rims Pirelli pzero corsa streetable track tire was 2.39![]()

I'm having the same issue here with adding the sound deadening materials. Seems like I can't get the plastic trunk floor to sit flush anymore because the arches have been pushed in.I just did this same project over the weekend. Have only done the trunk area, rear wheel wells inside the cabin, and rear bench. Butyl rubber 80mill killmat nearly everywhere, roughly 90% coverage. Used the eggshell butyl foam layer on top of that, only for trunk and wheel wells. To finish I covered any remaining gaps and the seams of lower foam layers with the 4mm foam layer. Making about 75% coverage with the 4mm foam.
TLDR

- Killmat - 90%

Incredible results already, and I have not done the doors yet. Super excited to experience what that will be like.
My question to you John-
How did you manage fitment for the plastic cover that goes over the hatch latch?
Also, were you able to maintain fitment for your folding trunk floor to lay within the groves of the trunk?
If you look at my photos, the wheel arch panels are pushed towards the inside, so it is messing with fitment. I believe I used the exact materials you used, aside from the initial butyl layer. I have thought of cutting out some material where the floor level shifts for the trunk floor insert, to let everything rest closer to stock.
