I didn’t install them. Had a friend at a shop do them. 1 hour front and 1 hour rear it took him. It was his 2nd set he’s ever done so he was more cautious and took his time. Car was on a lift of course at the shop. I’m sure you could do it quicker for someone who has done many of them.

Ok fine I'll stop being lazy and install mine as well. How long did the install take for front and rear sets? I thankfully have a quick jack I presume that is important when needing to slightly lower the subframes.

I noticed they don't charge tax. If they're shipping from Japan, are there any taxes/fees associated?
The only fees I paid were shipping and some small duty tax via fedex not too long after receiving the item.

I’m glad a few of you guys have seen the light. These especially help if you have the RMM installed. The extra vibration you would feel when the AC is on is pretty much non-existent
That nice to know.
I have a set just haven't had a chance to install.. also no lift so a bit difficult.

If your comfortable being being under your car you can do it on jack stands. I did it this way and had no issues. Compared to the injector/fuel pump/ turbo installs it was a breath of fresh air for me.

Well that's reassuring. I'll see if I can get it done this weekend.
Did you need to support the frame or anything when loosening all the bolts?

Its recommended if you use PRL's install guide but I found that so long as you backout the bolts and even amount to support the sub-frame you should not have any issues. I think the primary purpose is to prevent individuals from dropping the subframe too far and causing damage to other components.

Long story short I did not use a lift or jack to the support the frame and I had no issues.

Even though he uses a lift in his video I referenced @phothrottle a bit.

After doing the install and going for a drive I can't believe how downplayed or under appreciated this modification is. If I could only make one modification to this car THIS would be it.

It is recommended but you don’t need to. I’ve seen an install done on jack stands that loosened the bolts just enough to generate enough space for the collars to be slid in one by one. That install was years ago, car still has them installed with no issues.

I tell people this all the time, Anyone planning to mod their car at all should get these done. Another similar mod is the Mugen front and rear damper by Yamaha. It is way more expensive though

So just to be clear, this basically makes the car better with no negatives? RMM was said to be a great mod but it comes with additional NVH. This mod reduces NVH yet increases rigidity of the chassis?

I'd say so as a lamen. Its especially noticeable on shit roads. The ride is exceptionally more compliant/ less jarring. Here is an old but accurate representation of how they work.
