MSRP or walk away. It is happening all over the US. The car is NOT rare and there will be at least a other model year in '27.

How is it not a solid deal? That's under MSRP.

Idk about an amazing deal, but you could probably get them at or below MSRP pretty easily - as long as you're not in CA. Even then, if you travel it seems like you can get at least MSRP.

side question, any news/rumors on what are they doing on the 2027's and if 27 is actual last year ? unsure if it will be worth it to wait but msrp will probably be higher

Right now? Doubtful. No news about MY27 recently and MY26 hit shores late.

If you can be patient, probably well below MSRP in several months. But your guess is as good as mine and how do you handle FOMO?

Phoenix, AZ is a hotbed for big ADM number but currently multiple dealers are offering leftover '26 at MSRP (as a starting price.) There are deals to be had out there. I, myself, am shooting for MY27.

Dammit. I just did the paperwork on a new 2026 FL5 at a Honda dealership in Avondale yesterday ($5K over, plus another $2K in stupid dealer add on stuff). It was too late in the day for my bank to wire the funds over, so they're going to do it on Monday. Should I cancel it, or would that be a dick move?

You should absolutely cancel it, unless you like giving away money. It's not a dick move to cancel it, it's a dick move for a dealership to be charging an ADM on this car in October 2026 with nearly 300 FL5s on the ground with hundreds more inbound.

OMG! Absolutely, positively cancel it. There are so many great deals to be had on slightly used ones and left over 2026s. If you are going to fork over that much money, you might as well get a 2027.

I literally just bought a pristine '24 w/ 8.2k mi and $10k worth of desirable mods (to me) for $44.5 this weekend. In Socal.

I would cancel it, I got mine under msrp (in missisippi tho). It is cheaper for you to fly out and drive back than it is to buy over msrp. And by the time youre back, you already broken it in.
