$44,396.73 , $387 doc, $15 title, and $20 registration. $44,818.73 OTD in Ohio. I also had to pay $2,818.80 when I registered in Texas. That includes sales tax and 1 year registration. It cost me less than $450 to get the car because I have friends in Ohio, so not hotel. Didn't count food because I need to eat whether I was getting the car or not. Total cost $47,637.53 and about $450 in expenses to fly to Cleveland and drive car back.
Wow, you literally paid only msrp OTD, tax and fees all included! That is awesome!

I'd appreciate their contact info! Looking to purchase but dealers here in SoCal playing games and installed accessories I didn't ask for. Thanks!
Tim Costa (330) 571-8428.
Dan Crites in sales (216) 903-7850. I'd contact Tim since he's a manager. Just ask them to give you the same deal as Dean from Texas. They won't push any extras on you. I did try to get some accessories thrown in, but they wouldn't go for it. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

A little further but they are supposedly a MSRP only dealer, and have 2 CW's and a SGP.

I'm buying from East Cincinnati Honda and I'm only paying MSRP + TTL. No addons/extras required. They even went out of their way to find a red one for me (assuming they did a trade?) and it's arriving 3/1-3/7 currently. Gary was great to work with and said they have only ever been selling the CTR at MSRP. I haven't completed my transaction with them fully as I haven't picked up the car yet but they have been very good with communications and the overall sale so far.

I’ve been n communication with a rep from a dealer in OH who’s been really helpful and so far at MSRP. My issue is I’m out of state and upside down on my Tesla 🤦🏻‍♂️.

They’re going to get back to me tomorrow on if the OTD I sent included transfer taxes and registration for Florida.

My intention would be ship my trade in and pick up the CTR to drive it back

You're not supposed to pay sales tax if you're buying a car out of state. You will eventually pay it where you live. Just purchased my car in Ohio Jan 2, paid sales tax in TX when I registered my car here. If they're collecting tax from you, there's something wrong.

yeah I’m aware of that, I have seen however some dealers use a third party servicer that is designed for out of state sales. Vitu is what the provider is called. It’s just to streamline the whole tax and registration process. I did overlook one of the quotes I got and confirmed the tax being collected from and out of state deal was indeed my current state’s sales tax.

That's not true. Dealerships across the country can, and in most cases will, collect taxes for where you register the car. There's nothing wrong with that. I bought two new cars in 2023, both out of state and taxes were collected.
