Good to know, not compulsory on UK cars

Hasn't been much fanfare made about the fact that it now has 'individual' setup option. That was something so many people wished for on the FK8.

No chrome wheel bolts to go rusty. Now matt black.

Same red and chrome Type-R badge wheel centre caps as before that peel. I've gone through 3 sets in 3 years under warranty on my FK8.

We now know Japan are getting 330ps and 420Nm.

Unconfirmed but we think the exhaust is valved.

I didn't know that was a issue. Looks like this one is 19inch version of the forged BBS off the LE. Hopefully better quality.

Yeah the badge peels. I don't think it will be any different on the new wheels.

Look forward to hearing how it sounds fully opened up. Not keen on the whole piped in sound through the audio system though always thought it fake and tacky on other cars.

Good news is. On basically every car that comes out with it, they figure out how to disable it rather quickly. Normally just a connector.

The GTI pipes the sound in also, but you can change it to comfort which is like 30% volume, you can barely hear it. Even when its in sport, sound isn't unpleasant its got a sound like a N/A open intake which is kinda odd.

True. If it can be turned off then it's fine.

The interior video of the Suzuka run, I thought, sounded ok. Didn’t sound too fake. Not sure if they would have been using the augmented sound or not, but if they were, I didn’t mind it.

- An "individual" customizable drive mode is now available.
- Front bumper gill vents aren't functional but there's some directing plates from under the car to the front brakes likely on the control arm somewhere like the last gen (TheTopher)
- No center seat in the rear.
- Steering wheel isn't alcantara but leather [at least for the US market]
- Log+R has some driving score metric
- Red carpets seem to be standard
- Split thigh support in the front seats to accept a 5-point harness stock
- Few mentioned valved exhaust but no one knows if the car mode changes the engagement or what the "engine sound" option does on the infotainment. Of the few who started up the car though, no one mentioned fake engine noise though.
- Standard these days but under the rear floor there's a small air pump as your spare.
- Seems the subwoofer is retained in the Type-R
- Many body panels (and rear doors) are unique to the Type-R.
- Type-R's will not be built in the US with the LHD Civic hatchbacks but in Japan

Probably more I'm forgetting but I'm sure more information will become available once people edit their event footage.
