Wanting to flush factory brake fluid. Wanting to switch to Castrol SRF. Looking at motive vacuum bleeder. Anyone have any experience with this one? Any recommendations on one? Thanks.

Thanks for the input. Do you know what cap fits the fl5?I use a Motive pressure bleeder ’dry’. You buy the cap that fits your master cylinder, use the pressure bleeder to build about 12psi, and then work your way around the car to bleed the calipers.
A few times you depressurize and re-fill the master. Nice, clean and well controlled bleeding process.

Do you use the Pro kit or the DIY?I use the speedi-bleed with their Honda cap. Very easy to use and the cap fits perfect.

Yeah I've seen videos with the Motive and it looks pretty janky with setting and maintaining the pressure. I've read comments about people having the same problemI am giving the Speedi-bleed a try.
I have had a Motive speed bleeder for years but I don't love it. I have had issues a few times with the seal not holding and brake fluid going everywhere and also with the pressure container not holding pressure. I have MacGyvered it to work fine as issues have come up, but it is not my favorite.
Exactly right on the Motive. It isn't terrible but it is sort of cumbersome to use and maintain pressure. 60% of the time, it works every time, haha. Maybe others have better luck with it.Yeah I've seen videos with the Motive and it looks pretty janky with setting and maintaining the pressure. I looked at videos on how to use the Speedi and honestly it looks so much simpler with usimg the tire to maintain pressure. Its on sale right now for 35% off so it seems like a really good time to get it
I think mine lost .5 psi after I did a dry run and a full fluid exchange. Probably fine not refilling the tire because of how little air you actually useMaybe a dumb question. But with the speedi bleed , do you have to put air back in your tire?
