I removed the ANC module! After giving up two times trying to get the vent out, I was able to successfully remove it and unplug that damn thing.

I notice absolutely zero difference with Engine Sound having been kept on Comfort mode, but if I switch over to the go-fast button, at least I know it won't be there.
As a follow up and fully OT for the forum, I did the same for my 2025 CR-V Hybrid and what a huge difference it makes! It's far more dramatic than the CTR due to 'push gas petal into the floor, make awful buzzing engine noise' that comes from the thing. Now it sounds like plain ole LFB51. It makes the cabin quieter when accelerating, even in "Sport" mode.

The process is largely the same, despite first looks at a more ideal location. The module sits right behind the passenger side panel, between the glove box and door. Sadly that doesn't make it much easier to get out compared to the CTR. You need to remove the glove box and peel back the vent to the center and like the CTR, do not need to fully remove it. You only need to unscrew the top two phillips screws to partially pull down the glovebox compartment.

Undo two 10mm bolts where the red arrows are pointing and then find some very small hands that will bounce back from sharp metallic cuts. The cable attached to the ANC has very little slack, but as long as you find the tab (same as CTR) it's not too bad. Optionally wrap the head of the connector in some foam and then you can ziptie to a nearby bolt.

Cleaned up the garage a little bit and found the Broadway mirror I used to have in my EG Hatch from forever ago. Still clips on easily and stays on there pretty good. Might keep it on for awhile.

Been chasing a evap issue for 2days now, nearly took all evap hoses off even replaced some with new lines, only to find out my catch-can fitting was loose 🤦🏻‍♂️ . My tuner must of not tightened it enough… On the positive side i have a few new hoses installed now and corrected the evap issue.

I love the front view of our cars. Sexy B

Years ago, a friend of mine sent me a picture of the yet to be released DE5 and I thought “ holy shit, that’s a good looking car!”. The Fl5 was out, but I had no idea that it existed until I started researching the Integra.
When I saw the Civic, that was it. I think it’s one of the handsomest modern cars I’ve seen in the last decade or two. And they nailed every angle, including the interior.

I 2nd that. TypeS is nice and all, reminds me of, if the FK8 and FL5 had a muscular child lol. But the subtle lines and wide body of the FL5 is second to none. It’s a timeless design like that of the EK9, Supra, IS F. Etc etc.

PRL RMM arrived. Going to give it a try following reading a lot about it on these forums.

I had the PRL RMM for about a year now.

I did not notice much increase in NVH, but also not much decrease in wheel hop

Note that I drive like an ape, no finesse, and I cannot seem to be able to modulate and control the accelerator pedal for a perfect wheel hop free launches...
